We were tasked with creating a dynamic new document style for IHA’s publication suite. The new style needed to both evolve the IHA brand and help better communicate their mission of advancing sustainable hydropower to their multiple audiences and global partners. Our first task was to design their annual industry Status Report.
Filled with statistics, maps and charts the Status Report provides an overview of the global hydropower capacity. We brought the document to life with intersecting graphic elements inspired by the IHA logo and focused on clear navigation for comparison between regions. We created high impact infographics highlighting key achievements in the sector, that could also provide content for social media.

The biennial World Hydropower Congress is a high-profile event that brings together industry, government, finance, academia and civil society to set priorities for the future direction of the hydropower sector.
Following the success of the 2017 Congress in Adidas Ababa, we set the tone for the 2019 Congress by using a core theme of interconnectivity and reflecting the next location, Paris. We designed a flexible brand system to work in large and small scale. Creating assets for promotion in the lead up to the congress and templates for reporting and documentation throughout.
